Universal Avionics (UA) is expanding its Electronic Test Technician department. We are currently seeking Electronic Technicians (Levels II and III) to join our company. Our avionics solutions include navigation, electronic display, terrain awareness, recorders, enhanced flight vision systems, and synthetic vision systems for aerospace applications.
We are looking for qualified candidates with experience in performing electronic testing on complex product, sub-assemblies, and printed wiring boards to written procedures. Experience troubleshooting at the sub-assembly level is a must. You will conduct functional tests of electronic assemblies and subassemblies using measurement instruments and automatic test equipment. Using test failure data, you will determine if sub-assemblies have failed and replace. Ability to troubleshoot to component level using schematics and analog/digital circuit understanding is desired. We have several shifts for you to choose from to fit your life/work balance.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates in Electronic Technology or equivalent recommended.
Computer Skills
Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Access.
Certificates and Licenses
May require industry standard certifications
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
