DescriptionStep into a pivotal role at UCLA Health as the ClinicalIntegration Senior Financial Advisor for the development and implementation ofthe financial funds flow model between the David Geffen School of Medicine(DGSOM) and the UCLA Health System.This position reports to the Health System CFO, withcollaboration with senior leadership and the executive team across UCLA Healthto drive financial integration. Your responsibilities will include:Conducting a comprehensive assessment of current financial arrangements across DGSOM and UCLA Health System.Engaging stakeholders to understand critical financial challenges; synthesizes insights from past integration efforts to identify and address challenges with the new model.Proposing and developing innovative health system funds flow models that incorporate industry best practices and align with strategic objectives.Conducting sophisticated financial impact analyses of proposed models, including complex scenario planning, identifying and mitigating potential payment variances through strategic financial planning.Analyzing the financial impact of proposed models and providing data-driven insights.Developing advanced templates, frameworks and reporting that ensure transparency and simplicity in financial operations.Leading the development and delivery of a comprehensive change management strategy to facilitate the new model's implementation.Establishing governance structures to ensure the model's long-term sustainability.Continuously monitoring and optimizing financial performance under the new model to maintain alignment with strategic objectives and organizational growth.SalaryRange: $157,400- $380,600/annuallyNote:This is a one year contract position and may convert to career.QualificationsWe're seeking a highly qualified candidate with:A Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is required.A Master's degree is highly desired.Ten or more years of progressive experience in finance or business, with a strong background in healthcare organizations of similar size and complexity.Extensive knowledge of funds flow models, particularly within academic health organizations or similarly matrixed large healthcare systems.Proven ability to lead complex financial projects and guide senior leadership through strategic decision-making processes.Demonstrated experience in developing and executing change management strategies for large-scale financial initiatives.Advanced skills in financial modeling, impact analysis, and scenario planning.Expertise in establishing governance structures and developing policies for long-term financial sustainability.Strong ability to engage, influence, and build consensus among senior executives, clinical leaders, and other key stakeholders.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative solutions to complex financial challenges.Deep understanding of healthcare economics, academic medicine, and the financial operations of large, complex organizations.Expertise in managing large-scale projects, including timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams.Skilled in navigating complex organizational structures and aligning financial strategies with broader institutional goals.Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, recognizing the need for change and driving continuous improvementUCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person’s unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
