Job Requirements / Description

Job Duties: Provide Support to the Project Manager and Superintendent in the management and execution of assigned contracts through all phases of construction including planning/project startup, construction, and post construction/ project closeout.

Duties Include:

  • Assisting with preparation of Pre-Activity and project startup meetings including Project Handoff Meeting with Estimating Department, Pre-Construction and meeting with unions.
  • Distributing and maintaining Project Plans, Specification, Standard Plans, Job Special Provisions, Phase Listing, Director Cost Reports, Plan Revision, etc.
  • Building Daily and or Weekly Projects Schedules and distributing to all required parties.
  • Assisting in initial development and monthly update of CM-Schedule.
  • Assisting Superintendent and Foreman with day-to-day tasks including material procurement, daily project scheduling, survey and layout.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, material suppliers, and vendors as needed to meet project schedule requirements.
  • Coordinating with Owner / Owner's representative, Inspectors, QC/QA personnel, etc. to schedule testing and/or inspection of work.
  • Coordinating with MW Operations Managers including Survey, Quality Control, Structures, Concrete, Transportation, etc. as needed.
  • Preparing and submitting RFI's and Submittals to owner or engineer of record.
  • Assisting with project closeout / final completion tasks including punch-list, final plans, certs, final quantities / change orders, etc.

Degree: Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction / Engineering Management

Skills: Completion of OSHA 10-HOur or 30-Hour Constructiion Course. Strong proficiency using MS-Project, HCSS HeavyJOb or HeavyBid, and Primaver P6.
