Primary Responsibilities
- Operates the Drexel truck to pick-up and transfer filled containers to storage racks, occasionally consolidating containers on pallets and in the racks.
- Labels all packages and containers, listing material code, batch formula code, clock number, weight and date. Follows all established safety, environmental and PPE requirements.
- Assures material is safely packaged and physically delivered by way of fork truck, lift/elevator or other means, all materials to the designated department. Checks for accuracy and makes proper adjustments for ordered materials.
- Works with the leadership team in developing, reviewing and revising SOP's and the job skills
- Cleans up equipment and work areas, and performs miscellaneous duties related to the above title.
- Follows all established plant safety, environmental, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to work any shift, and work overtime as needed.
- Must be clean shaven to wear proper PPE.
