Job Status : This position is full-time. HRDC also has a "Wellness Hours Policy" which encourages full-time staff to use up to 4 paid hours weekly to work on their wellness.

Job Location: Belgrade Head Start Center
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift with some evenings
Summary: The Case Manager: Family Support works directly with families enrolled in to provide family-centered support. This position will help connect families with resources, ensure family well-being, and offer guidance for navigating early education and other community services. This position is responsible for fostering positive relationships with families while also collaborating with staff across the agency to ensure the delivery of holistic support services..
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: This position has the following duties and responsibilities. They are listed starting with the most important. The percentage at the end of each statement is an estimate of the percentage of time spent on each duty. This listing does not include minor duties which constitute less than 5% of the position's time, unless such duties are significantly important or critical to the success of the position. Each of the duties listed below is considered an essential function of this job. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilitie
1. Customer Support/Assessment of Need (55%): Working with the Customer S to determine appropriate program placements and referrals for customers; informs customers of available services and resources; coordinates and supports customer's access to services and benefits.
2. Program Eligibility and File Management (15%): Works with Compliance Specialists to determine program eligibility and benefit level by identifying and requesting proper documentation; accurately calculates household income and benefit levels; determines household status and processes household changes as required by various funding sources. In conjunction with the Compliance team, maintain client files, case notes, and appropriate documentation systems. Enter program data efficiently and accurately into required databases
3. Program Eligibility (10%): Collaborates with Compliance Specialists to determine program eligibility and benefit levels by identifying and requesting the necessary documentation. Accurately calculates household income and benefits, assesses household status, and processes changes in accordance with the requirements of various funding sources.
4. Family Events (10%): Family Case Managers attend and support family events hosted by Early Childhood Education team
5. Teamwork (5%): This role collaborates closely with all agency programs, including the compliance department, to uphold best practice standards in case management.
6. Training and Development (5%) : Engages in ongoing training opportunities on best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work/life experience
- Due to regulations the applicant must have, or obtain within eighteen months of hire, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field.

- Additionally, this role will assist customers in developing their plans for belonging, well-being, meaning, and purpose.

- This position will primarily serve Spanish-speaking customers located in Gallatin, Park and Meagher Counties
- This position requires the incumbent to occasionally transport customers to appointments.
- Native/Bilingual Spanish- speaking preferred
- Ability to read, interpret, and write routine documents and correspondence in English, Spanish preferred
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex and sensitive information; persuasive speaking abilities
- Ability to effectively disseminate information about HRDC and community programs.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate annual household income
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of program manuals, guidelines, and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

- Proficient in navigating spreadsheets, multiple databases, email, calendar
- Willingness to learn new software systems
- Comfortable with Microsoft and Google operating systems
- Valid State Driver License required
- Reliable vehicle and appropriate liability insurance are required
- CPR and First Aid, Trauma Informed Care, Mental Health First Aid
- Ability to effectively work and communicate positively with all socio-economic groups
- Ability to effectively perform duties with a thorough knowledge of agency goals, objectives, projects and services

- May be responsible for training, recruiting, managing, and scheduling the work of volunteers.
- Responsible for data entry for payable claims with proper coding according eligibility requirements
