We are currently seeking a QA Tester - Automation & Manual - King of Prussia, PA to join our team in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania (US-PA), United States (US).
This is a permanent, full-time, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.
QA Automation and Manual Tester
Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Participating in daily scrum stand ups, backlog grooming and refinement sessions, sprint planning meetings and sprint review and retrospective meetings.
- Supporting the product owners in maintaining the product backlog and scheduling next release.
- Understanding requirements & data mapping.
- Interacting with Dev team, BA team, Data Analyst, and Data architects for understanding project requirements and technical design.
- Constructing test scenarios from business requirements, functional specifications and design documents and ensuring that requirements are linked to test artifacts and requirement coverage is adequate.
- Evaluating test data against expected scenarios, identifying deficiencies.
- Preparing test data to validate all positive and negative scenarios as needed.
- Running the Load and fixing issues if any arise during the load.
- Performing Regression testing, Functional testing, and automated testing where possible.
- Creating defects for identified issues and participating in the defects triage meeting as needed.
- Performing root cause analysis, tracing defects to underlying issues with requirements, data, or transformations.
- Participating in requirement and design review meetings to stay informed of potential impact to testing cases.
- Performing test task estimation and providing input to test delivery schedule.
- Escalating issues to Project Manager and Quality Assurance Manager as needed in a clear, concise and timely manner. Consistently identifying solutions to issues.
- Participating in project meetings, design reviews & walkthroughs as needed.
- Contributing ideas and effort toward continuous improvement and Quality enablement.
Basic, Required Qualifications:
- Minimum six years of experience in web application testing using both Manual and Automation tools/scripts.
- Minimum six years of experience in:
- API and web services testing using both Manual and Automation tools/scripts.
- Writing SQL queries required for data validation.
Other Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Web and API application automation techniques.
- Experience with Test Automation tools, preferably Selenium.
- Scripting knowledge for automation (Web & API), preferred language is Python.
- Experience working in Agile development.
- Experience with Mobility testing.
- Experience with JIRA.
- Finance domain experience: basic concept and terminology.
