Senior Manager Corporate Development
Location: Baltimore / Chicago
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 + bonus & equity
We are currently supporting one of the biggest names in the energy industry as they expand their corporate development team. As a Senior Manager you will play a role in developing this leader of clean energy production’s Corporate Development. As one of the largest clean energy generators in the US they have a number of growth strategies that they are focusing on, including continuing to expand their hydrogen and nuclear presence.
The ideal candidate will be a part of the Corporate Development & Strategic Initiatives team. They be responsible for managing the M&A process of transactions and lead the construction of financial models and M&A, divestiture, and generation development opportunities. You will have the opportunity to own complex transactions from start to finish across a portfolio of energy products including solar, BESS, nuclear etc.
What you will do:
- Lead on the evaluation, due diligence and acquisition / divesture of new investment opportunities with the energy space including (but not limited to) solar, BESS, nuclear, wind etc.
- Oversee and participate in the construction of financial models, critical presentation materials, and overall project management for large scale energy initiatives.
- Communicate with executive level stakeholders to continue to drive and expand the corporate development capability for the wider business.
What you will have:
- 8 years’ of experience in Corporate Development, Strategy and M&A
- Financial experience with demonstrated project management skills
- Ideally 2-3 years experience in renewables focused M&A
- Background in financial modeling, but focus on owning complex investment processes in the energy space
