Your role at Clorox:
- Provide financial support for our Product Supply Organization supporting multiple businesses.
In this role, you will:
- Lead SBU relationship and Support Total Company Delivered Cost Consolidation and Reporting.
- Lead forecast process for Raw & Pack and D&D working closely with Supply Planning.
- Support the annual standards setting process and training.
- Ensure monthly accounting close for owned accounts, including usage and at standard rate variances, are performed in accordance with company accounting policies and procedures, Internal Controls Compliance, and GAAP.
- Ensure forecast, gap results and insights are provided to support the business.
- Consistently demonstrate active financial leadership and influence to drive superior business results through cost management.
- Actively lead, participate, and bring closure to continuous improvement projects (Ad hoc work, projects, gap closing, etc.).
What we look for:
Experience:
- Solid understanding of US GAAP.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in finance and/or accounting.
- SAP (R/3, BW, SEM) and Essbase.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and tasks and ensures timely resolution.
- Ability to work effectively in teams (both within Finance and cross-functionally).
- Strong planning & organizing skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
