As an Electronics Engineer , you will serve as the technical lead and responsible product engineer for the missile Kill Vehicle electronics, working in a world-class Integrated Product Development environment.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
  1. Lead an interdisciplinary technical team in the development and production of electronics circuit card assemblies, units, and related test equipment.
  2. Review engineering designs, test plans, and associated manufacturing and test procedures.
  3. Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world-class avionics systems.
  4. Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review, and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system-level testing.

We are looking for:
  1. Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
  2. Experience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.
  3. Experience interacting with peers, management, and government customers.
  4. Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
  5. Missile design experience.

  2. Current DoD Interim Secret clearance or greater, thus you are a US Citizen .

Basic Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  2. Experience with design of digital or analog circuits.
  3. Experience with product qualification, requirements verification, and certification.
  4. Current DoD interim Secret clearance or higher, thus US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:
  1. Experience in overseeing the production and test of electronics assemblies.
  2. Experience on Space and/or Missile Defense Missions.
  3. Experience in product team leadership.
  4. Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors, and customers.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.
  6. Demonstrated strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  7. Adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problems.
  8. Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  9. Existing DoD Secret clearance.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington, or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
