Industrial Electrician Supervisor
Job Description:
Our clientis currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role ofINDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISORat its underground zinc operation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician Supervisor with a desire to soar in their career.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supervise and manage the electrical team.
* Prioritize, coordinate, and layout work for the day.
* Inventory, schedule, and order materials and supplies for upcoming work.
* Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components, including PLC panels, drives, motors, fans, VFDs, transformers, pumps, and generators.
* Work with 4-20 mA, 4160, 13.8, AC up to 480v, 5kva, DC voltages
* Read and follow prints.
* Assist the electrical team underground and on surface as needed.
* Capacity to develop knowledge of hoisting/crushing operations troubleshoot same.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
* Minimum 3 years in leadership role.
* Ability to communicate effectively with other department managers and employees.
* Time management skills.
* PLC experience.
* DC/AC/Drive experience.
* Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his/her duties in a safe and efficient manner.
* Must be able to perform the work without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others due to the safety sensitivity of tasks.
* Ability to work in the US.
MUST HAVE
* 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
* 3 years in a leadership role.
* Ability to communicate effectively with other department managers and employees.
* Time management skills.
* PLC experience.
* DC/AC/Drive experience.
* Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his/her duties in a safe and efficient manner.
