Join the CVOEO Housing Advocacy Programs team as a Housing Stabilization & Retention Services Coordinator. This position provides follow-up services to renters and those seeking housing including helping tenants and landlords address crisis situations and resolve conflict, improving housing stability and tenancy readiness through one-on-one coaching and skill-building, and promoting connections to other housing resources and services.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline plus two years of community service experience or combination of education and experience from which comparable skills and knowledge are acquired. Case management, Basic mediation and bilingual skills, experience desired.
Knowledge of community resources and counseling/social work practices with high risk populations.
Ability to keep up to date, organized, accurate and confidential client records and to submit reports as needed on a timely basis. Ability to interact effectively with a diverse population, landlords, and other social service providers.
Understanding of poverty, fair housing law, mobile home park law, and Vermont landlord/tenant law.
Ability to quickly learn and maintain a solid working base of technical knowledge, including related laws, rules and regulations.
Salary Description
$19.22- $24.02/hour
