The Engineer evaluates system performance through modeling, develops system designs, oversees construction, maintenance, and operations activities, investigates incidents, trouble-shoots systems and equipment, tests materials, and performs other assignments.As a Engineer, you will learn to:Work with a variety of analytical software to provide solutions to improve efficiency of natural gas transmission and distribution systemsMonitor progress against compliance due date and year-end targetsUnderstand the operation of gas facilities to properly supply natural gas to customersDevelop knowledge of the installation process of new facilities and the retirement of existing ones as a part of new pipeline construction programEnsure we are delivering a quality service to our customersWork with various stakeholders and provide input on technical engineering aspects of projectsThis position is part of the Engineering job family (Associate Engineer/Engineer/Senior Engineer). Experience will be the determining factor.These positions are part of our engineering rotation program. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
