Smartly has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Science Partner to join our team in the US.
We are looking for a customer-facing Marketing Science Partner who enjoys growing revenue in existing accounts through data. Your role is crucial in making sure we can generate incremental revenue through our analyses and recommendations!
You will work with our distributed team of customer-facing data scientists based in our offices in Helsinki, New York, and San Francisco. In this role you will apply your analytics skills to develop proof points to sell new business and increase advertising investment in the Smartly platform in support of sales teams and customer success managers.
As a Marketing Science Partner, you will...
- Serve as the day-to-day trusted measurement consultant for key strategic advertisers by analyzing customers' performance marketing data and develop methods to determine what works and, more meaningfully, why it works
- Drive to be the best in the world at optimizing digital advertising in a cross-platform world with expertise and will to experiment across the platforms Smartly.io serves.
- Provide feedback to and collaborate with Product team and Partnerships to find opportunities for new features
- Lead customer communication on Smartly optimization features, and A/B and incrementally testing, and communicate sophisticated research results to a general audience
- Drive customer and industry adoption of optimization the best standards, measurement methodologies, and products
- Perform performance meta analyses, vertical research, and playbooks based on scientifically sound analytics
- Proven track record of growing account revenue through analytics in spite of a challenging economic climate
- Strong sales and sales enablement skills
- 4+ years experience in marketing measurement, analytics, growth marketing, or a related field
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data-sets in Python and SQL
- Bachelor's degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field or similar knowledge
- Ability and willingness to become an expert in digital performance marketing
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, collaborating with technical and non-technical collaborators in a customer-facing role
