As the Supervisor, you will:

The Supervisor, Brand Strategy position is twofold:

  1. Take the lead on developing strategic content and identifying insights that inform the overall media recommendation.
  2. Manage the team to ensure they efficiently produce high-quality, accurate work.

Key Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate on media and marketing recommendations using a holistic media approach.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain strategic and integrated client media plans and marketing recommendations.
  • Build plan options that deliver against objectives.
  • Focus on details, including having strong data/rationale support recommendations.
  • Have an intimate knowledge of the client’s brand and product details.
  • Be proactive: Show interest in constantly learning and growing.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple groups both internally and externally (client and creative agency).
  • Take the lead on working with Analytics and Investment teams.
  • Manage workflow and process procedures are followed and manage expectations accordingly.
  • A very high level of accuracy in the process of media purchases and budget administration.
  • You will be responsible for leading and managing the execution and updates of media tools, and prepare and speak to media reports and insights.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the client media plan and budget details, including flowchart, budget trackers, ensuring client approval prior to buy, and day-to-day account stewardship.
  • Lead and manage the execution and updates of media campaign documents (i.e. flowchart maintenance, campaign tracker, asset delivery, etc.).
  • Work closely with Media Director in managing client budget issuance/management, and provide insightful updates on the status of all campaigns and projects.
  • Responsible for managing and reporting media budgets on an ad-hoc and monthly basis.
  • Represent Canvas Worldwide professionally with clients and industry.
  • Able to direct team and foster an environment for growth and learning.
  • Ensure that deadlines are met, including managing expectations internally.
  • Promote an open and supportive working environment where opinions, views, and ideas are welcome and shared.
  • Ensure the team is informed of a broader view of client needs and strategies.
  • Provide oversight on junior staff to ensure work is 100% error-free.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-7 years of experience in Media Strategy or Planning.
  • 2+ years of mentoring and developing staff.
  • Proven ability to drive projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate with internal managers and clients.
  • Possesses a solid and proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks flexibly and communicate priorities to direct reports.
  • High-level proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as planning tools.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to follow through.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and precise.
  • Proven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationships.

Salary: $90,000 - $90,000 a year.

Salary and Benefits

Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.

In-Office Work Schedule

This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days in-office per week.
