Office Schedule: first 6 months in office 5x a week, then will move to 3x a week

Our client, an extremely prestigious Non-Profit, is looking for an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist. This individual MUST have ADP Workforce experience.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of Associate's Degree (required)
  • ADP Workforce experience (required)
  • 2+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
  • 2+ years of Payroll processing experience
  • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Must understand accounting principles, including deferred revenue
  • Experience with month-end closing process

Responsibilities
  • Support both the payroll and accounts payable functions
  • Receive, code, and enter data for all invoices and vouchers in the Finance Department
  • Manually enter and apply the amount of VISA charges by month when producing checks for vouchers with credit card transactions
  • Research and respond to inquiries from various entities to resolve discrepancies
  • Process bi-weekly recurring garnishment entries from payroll and monthly recurring entries for rent and rebate payments
  • Assist with year-end audit schedules and 1099 filings
  • May assist Data Processing with entry of 1187's, particularly those requiring payment of incentive payments through accounts payable
  • Process daily and periodic payroll processing
