Sales and Finance Manager Job Description
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ensure customer retention and profitability by hiring, training, and measuring the performance of salespeople. Establish and maintain customer-focused sales standards. Produce additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance products and other appropriate after-sale items to new and used vehicle customers.
Essential duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Work together with other members of the sales department to achieve the sales team’s sales forecast.
- Work with sales team to maximize front and back-end profit.
- Complete F&I documents with customers. Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc. Maintain knowledge of legal, ethical, and moral standards for the F&I department.
- Protect dealership by enforcing all corporate policies & procedures.
- Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with financial institutions and vehicle manufacturers.
- Maintain PVR and PPD penetration standards set by the management team.
- Hire, train, supervise, counsel, and monitor the performance of the sales staff to maintain a productive customer focused environment.
- Ensure customer satisfaction ratings for the dealership meet or exceed the dealerships and Kia’s standards
- Assist with management of new and used vehicle inventory.
