The Role

AssemblyAI is growing quickly, and we’re searching for ambitious Sales Development Reps who will play a key role in expanding our business globally.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Generate new sales opportunities for AssemblyAI. Be the first point of contact for potential customers and firmly build the foundations for sales engagement.
  • Play a key role in expanding our business globally. You will work closely with Account Executives to improve deal flow and grow our sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with other departments to influence business strategy. You will collaborate and provide feedback with Marketing & Sales leadership to improve our messaging, content, strategy, and results.

Requirements

  • 6+ months experience of Outbound Sales Development experience with proven results
  • Preferred experience selling into a highly technical customer base on Engineering and Product teams
  • Strong written and communication skills, with excellent organizational ability in Outreach, Zoom, GSuite, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Ability to connect and develop strong prospect/client relationships
  • Desire to help build a high performance sales organization that exceeds goals
  • Willingness to take ownership and execute - can work independently
  • Passion for understanding and explaining technology
  • Impeccable work ethic and dedication towards customers

Commission

  • Uncapped commission and 1.5x accelerators on OTE
  • Quarterly spiff incentives (gift cards, trips, etc) for hitting quarterly goals like "best new customer logo" or "most logos closed"
