A law firm seeks a Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney for their San Francisco, CA office.
Job Overview:
- Represent clients in intellectual property litigation, focusing on patent and/or trade secret matters.
- Provide legal counsel to clients on ongoing intellectual property matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in legal practice.
Duties:
- Handle a broad spectrum of intellectual property cases, including patent and trade secret litigation.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and legal counsel.
- Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and execution.
Requirements:
- Admission to a State Bar is required.
- 3-5 years of experience with intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation.
- Strong academic credentials in law and undergraduate coursework.
- Undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sound legal and business knowledge.
Education:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to a State Bar.
