What Does a Typical Day Look Like? Here are your primary responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria, using your expertise to build and execute a successful and timely talent acquisition process for each job requisition.
- Execute effective sourcing strategies to maximize the quality of the applicant pool, including the use of online channels and professional networks.
- Identify and deliver activities to improve the recruitment experience for applicants and hiring managers, including training to ensure impactful and compliant interviews.
- Provide excellent communication at every step of the process.
- Measure and report your results and the impact of talent acquisition activities.
What is Needed to be Successful in this Role (Required Skills/Abilities) :
- Requires proficiency in the role-specific skills and abilities. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding in the area of specialization and responsibility, typically obtained through a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition.
- Previous experience with recruitment for the manufacturing industry.
- Basic knowledge of employment law, especially as it impacts related talent acquisition and onboarding processes.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with candidates, managers, and team members.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently.
- Attention to detail, particularly when working with sensitive information.
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate discretion and professionalism to uphold strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
