Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Site Management: Coordinate day-to-day activities, including site safety, quality control, and subcontractor performance.
• Scheduling: Develop and maintain construction schedules, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee the work of all subcontractors, ensuring proper execution of tasks in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Quality Control: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Budget Management: Work with project managers to track budgets and manage cost-effective operations.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, including delays, material shortages, and personnel challenges.
• Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Safety Enforcement: Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure work environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment used.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, particularly on commercial and/or residential projects.
• Familiarity with construction management software and scheduling tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes, OSHA regulations, and industry safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and construction documents.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges.
