Customer is seeking a Network Engineer with strong Windows server background.
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Detailed knowledge of network protocols & services such as TCP/IP, DNS, proxy & DHCP.
- Ability to handle network vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of various types of firewalls (network, host-based, web application, and cloud).
- Monitor, configure, and maintain secure networks & accesses.
- Implement security best practices and Intelligence Community (IC) compliance requirements into networking, computing, and enclave environments.
- Develop and maintain system security certification and accreditation for IT systems in accordance with IC compliance requirements.
- Review and evaluate customer security issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage continuous monitoring responsibilities for IT systems.
- Manage vulnerability scanning responsibilities for IT systems.
- Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management using the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Write detailed technical documentation for installation/configuration and O&M procedures.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills for developing security solutions based on a set of requirements.
Preferred Certifications:
- Security+
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- CompTIA’s Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
