This job was posted by : For more information, please see: have an opportunity for a Fitter Welder who will take finished product from the Torch, Press, and Machine Shop Departments and read prints to fit together and weld assemblies. Each product designed and manufactured is customized and made to order so you wont be stuck working on the same thing each day. Will primarily use flat MIG wire and out of position dual shield. All welding is done without fixturing and thickness of material generally runs 3/16\" to 5/8\".Responsibilities:MIG and dual shield weldingWelding from a variety of positions, e.g. flat, vertical, and overheadVisually inspecting quality of workGrinding out inferior quality welds and reworking as neededReading and interpreting prints, assembly drawings, and Bill of MaterialsPerforming material handling operations as needed (training available)Operating a hand torch and hand plasma torchCross-training to assist in other departments as neededClocking to jobs using a barcode scanning systemMaintaining cleanliness and organization of the department
