Sr. Director Product Marketing, Semiconductor Custom Storage / HYBRID
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Director of Product Marketing who will play a pivotal role in leading our semiconductor custom storage sector. Located in Austin, TX with a hybrid remote work model, this role targets ambitious product marketing leaders ready to tackle challenges in accelerated infrastructure environments. As a key contributor at an industry leader in custom silicon solutions, the selected candidate will develop sophisticated custom solutions that address the most critical design problems faced in data centers and various infrastructure applications. This is a unique opportunity to influence product offerings at a global scale, interfacing directly with major clients and leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
Compensation: $225,000.00 - $300,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to set business strategies, define technology roadmaps, create customer-specific solutions, and secure new business.
- Conduct in-depth market/technology trend analysis, market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM), and perform competitive analysis.
- Develop and influence customer relationships and partnerships at the senior management level.
- Drive the opportunity funnel and achieve design wins with sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Proactively gain an understanding of customer applications to ensure products are compelling, innovative, and uniquely positioned against competitors.
- Generate and manage comprehensive customer solutions including presentations, white papers, solutions briefs, and competitive positioning.
- Leverage deep expertise in datacenter sub-markets such as AI, Processors, CXL, and Connectivity to guide product direction and innovation.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field required; MSEE or MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry with a strong understanding of semiconductor compute technologies (CPU, GPU, FPGA).
- Proven ability in customer-facing roles, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Experience in product management, including defining products, developing MRDs, and overseeing product lifecycles.
- Comprehensive background in semiconductor design required for evaluating product performance, manufacturing cost, power, and development cost trade-offs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong familiarity with AI devices and AI system designs, with practical experience in product market applications.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in developing complex business and technical proposals presented to senior leadership.
- Previous engagement with hyperscalers, leveraging relationships to foster business growth and technology innovation.
