Job Description
Performance Opportunity (Why would someone want this job? In other words, what will the person in this role accomplish in order to be successful?):
The Account Executive is a key role in ensuring that our goals are met. They are responsible for day-to-day implementation of client projects, to ensure they run smoothly and flawlessly. Builds trust with internal and external clients. Utilizes other parts of the agency to deliver work efficiently.
Provides day-to-day support and demonstrates leadership with value-added ideas to help build the client’s business.
Leo Burnett is the lead creative agency for a multinational CPG company, responsible for the strategic implementation, development, and production of all TV, OLV and Digital assets. With this, the Account Executive will have the opportunity to not only work and help support a major brand, but broaden their skillset through exposure to a variety of projects.
Team and Reporting Structure
This role reports to: Account Supervisor
Internal Team connections: Cross functional Account teams that include; Production, Creative, Strategy and Legal
External Team connections: Associate Brand Manager, vendors, media partners, agency partners
Qualifications
Experience Desired
2-4 years Agency Experience, ideally with a Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate area of study.
Hard skills (brand, retail, digital, production, research, etc.):
- TV
- Digital (e.g., social)
- Nice to have: Production experience, exposure to financials and working within an IAT
Soft skills (client/team culture, communication style, flexibility, etc.):
- Detail-oriented - able to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Logical thinking - able to quickly absorb information and apply it to future scenarios
- Adaptability – able to quickly pivot and flex in the clients ever-changing environment
- Desire to learn – eager to learn the business to help provide value and support
- Resourcefulness – able to work independently but ask questions along the way
Additional Information
Expectation for In-Person Collaboration: Tuesday's, Wednesday's & Thursday's in the office (35 W. Wacker drive).
