This work will be performed under direct supervision.Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Reviewing and comprehending drawings from various disciplines before initiating drafting effort on any specific item. Understanding project scope, specifications and design criteria upon assignment.Interpreting redline instructions reflected on marked up drawings.Draft plans from various disciplines using design and drafting standards under direct supervision.Develop cross divisional relationships, and provide HELIX support under direct supervision.This position offers a highly competitive compensation package including paid time off, health insurance benefits, and matching retirement contributions along with on-site experience and a great "One Team" culture.Ideal BackgroundEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting is preferred.Certification: Certification is not required at this level.Experience: This position requires up to 2 years of relevant industrial experience in drafting and design or related coursework.Require Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of CAD software, either AutoCAD, Microstation or both.Knowledge and application of CAD drafting standards.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.Good communication skills, both verbal and writtenPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time#LI-MR1Hargrove CultureWe work to create an environment founded on trust, personal integrity, and a “team mentality” so that each person understands the value of their contributions both on a project and company-wide level.
