We are seeking a talented attorney to join our thriving Corporate Practice Team!
This position is open to any of our Michigan offices and offers the opportunity to collaborate on a wide range of business transactions.
Corporate Attorney Responsibilities
- Assist the team with complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private offerings, capital restructuring, and similar matters.
- Take a lead role in managing transactions, with a strong preference for experience in first-chair capacity.
- Demonstrate expertise in general corporate work, contract review and drafting, and the intricacies of merger and acquisition transactions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactions.
- Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the legal process.
Corporate Attorney Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- More than 3 years of experience working in a law firm setting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on client service.
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis tools.
- Admission to the Michigan Bar is a plus, but not required for immediate consideration.
