Title: Sr. Systems Administrator
Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm PST
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Seattle, WA 98115 (Onsite)

Summary:
Plans, designs, and maintains the Picture Archive and Computer System (PACS) or similar clinical image archiving and viewing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Implements and maintains PACS systems to include image data maintenance and image archive and display.
- Works with information technology to efficiently process data information.
- Documents system requirements; acts as a liaison between radiology/cardiology or other clinical staff, radiologists/cardiologists, and ordering physicians in designing the structure of a system.
- Trains clinical staff and other users (as needed) on how to use the system; acquire electronic images; QC image data; display image data and archive image data.
- Integrates PACS system to provide efficient processes for image interpretation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in the clinical area is required, including system implementation, maintenance, documentation, and training with a radiology or similar system.
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems, health care management, radiological technology, or related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- VNA, HL7, DICOM, Project management.
- Any PACS / Imaging related certification preferred, not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiology/cardiology (or similar) information systems is required, in addition to word-processing, spreadsheet/graphics, and database applications.
- Additional system experience may be substituted for the clinical experience.
