Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Food Service Director to lead our food service dining team to success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with experience in managing kitchen operations, catering, supervising staff, managing a food truck and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, cafeterias, including kitchen, dining, and cash handling.
- Supervise a team of cooks, servers, and management staff to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and high-quality food service.
- Oversee the inventory management process, including ordering and receiving stock, and ensuring that food costs are controlled.
- Implement effective shift management practices to ensure efficient staffing and minimize labor costs.
- Develop and maintain a positive and productive team environment through effective communication, coaching, and feedback.
- Manage restaurant finances, including cash handling and controlling expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food industry regulations and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Collaborate with the hospitality management team to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in casual dining.

- MUST HAVE CAFETERIA MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE.
- Strong background in hospitality management, including kitchen management and food management.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in cash handling and shift management is essential.
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality food and customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to drive sales and profitability.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software and systems.

Areas of Travel include, Stamford, Hartford & Oxford. We also cater to the state of CT and MA.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
