About the Role

Our Specialized Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. With a net new revenue focus, they fuel Workday’s new customer growth of Specialized Products (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Scout, and Peakon). In this role, you will:

  1. Develop and drive the overall short-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives and build & maintain long-term relationships.
  2. Be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and channel partners with a focus on deal management.
  3. Work with Net New AEs to identify potential Workday solution sales for existing specialized products customers.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • ~8+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based solutions to C-levels in a field sales position.
  • Experience managing a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for opportunities.
  • Experience developing deep product expertise on new products and stays up to date with industry trends.
  • Experience with account planning and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Other Qualifications

  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry.
  • Experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. This role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors.

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $128,300 USD - $156,800 USD
