Vysus Group is a leading engineering and technical consultancy offering specialist asset performance, risk management and project management expertise across complex industrial assets, energy assets (oil and gas, nuclear, renewables) and the energy transition.

We are currently looking for a Nuclear Consultant to join our nuclear team based in the USA. This role would suit a new graduate or someone in their early career in the nuclear industry. We work on a wide range of assignments within nuclear safety and risk analysis, for both nuclear power plants and other nuclear, and non-nuclear, facilities and authorities. Tasks in this role include both deterministic and probabilistic studies as well as licensing related assignments and using specialised tools for the nuclear industry.

To be successful in the role of Nuclear Consultant , we are looking for you to have the following:

  • An MSc degree in (nuclear) engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in writing reports and giving presentations in the English language at a professional level.

The following are a plus but not a prerequisite:

  • Experience in probabilistic assessment of various kinds to work with nuclear safety such as Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) and/or nuclear emergency preparedness.
  • Experience with fault tree and event tree analysis, experience in using RiskSpectrum and similar tools is a plus.

As we travel to see our customers, it is an advantage for you to have a driving licence.
