Job Summary
Located in Chicago, IL - this advanced professional will report into our Corporate Strategy office. This individual is an emerging expert in corporate strategy-related activities and takes on a team leadership role without specific direct reports. This position is responsible for assisting with leading the team in a broad array of corporate strategic, analytic, planning and integration activities to ensure continued growth and profitability of the organization.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree and 6 years of experience in consulting on health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR MBA and 4 years of experience involving strategic planning, business development and financial management operations, operational transformation, OR 8 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
- Strategy Development/Planning/Implementation: Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends; experience leading and formulating strategy.
- Analysis/Synthesis/Insight Generation: Conduct environmental and opportunity scans/ trend analyses, provide insights regarding implications, inform decision making, make recommendations/prioritize new opportunities to pursue. Growing ability to generate insights based on understanding of impacts/implications, and integrated across projects.
- Critical Thinking/Problem Solving: Proactive identification and resolution to increasingly complex problems with minimal oversight.
- Project Management: Manage increasingly complex projects with minimal oversight.
- Business Knowledge and Application: Has a strong business knowledge and is proactive in its application.
- Collaboration and Interpersonal Effectiveness: Ability to build strong connections with people and teams; drive results by working across the matrixed environment; work directly with corporate leadership.
- Communication Skills: Ability to interact with all levels, including senior executives; verbal, written and visual communications skills.
- Team Development: Proactively develop team members to share knowledge and experience.
- Able to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Advanced degree; MBA or MHA.
- Management consulting / Strategic consulting experience.
- Experienced with a variety of strategic, analytic, planning and integration initiatives for a large enterprise.
- Life Sciences or Health Insurance industry experience.
We offer a flexible work arrangement to include 2 days work from home and 3 days working in Chicago, IL.
