Position Overview:

Job Responsibilities:

• Patient Age Group : Adults and Geriatrics
• Procedures :
  • EGD and Colonoscopies
  • ERCPs
  • EUS
  • PEG
  • Variceal banding
  • Higher acuity cases
• Facility Type : GI-specific units, including a standalone GI center for healthy patients and an in-hospital unit for more complex cases.

Certification and Licensing Requirements:

• Board Certification : NBCRNA required
• State Licenses : Active Virginia license required, but willing to consider candidates who need to obtain a Virginia license
• Certifications :
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Years of Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience
• Charting Experience : Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Flu Vaccine : Required, with no exemptions
• Coverage Area : GI is a growing specialty in the area, and the facility is looking for a provider committed to exclusively covering GI cases.
• Types of Cases : This role involves both routine GI procedures in a standalone center and higher acuity cases within a hospital setting.
