Software Developer

Experience: 6-12 years

In this role, you'll be responsible for understanding business needs, developing solutions, and maintaining complex application software within Oracle Retail suites. Your expertise will revolve around design, development, and deployment of solutions aligned with business requirements.

Job Description:

• Understand diverse business initiatives and devise appropriate solution approaches.
• Build, test, and deploy solutions to meet business needs effectively.
• Develop, test, modify, and maintain complex application software following set standards.
• Document interface systems and address database performance issues as necessary.

Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of strong techno-functional experience in Oracle Retail suites (RMS).
• Expertise in Oracle PLSQL, Proc, UNIX shell scripting, integration Bus, and message services.
• Proficient in designing complex RMS applications, understanding production support, and maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and version control systems like GIT/GITLAB.
• Experience in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Test-Driven development) and service scheduling (TES or similar).
• Bonus skills include experience with Kafka streaming, Kubernetes, AWS, event-driven design, containers, micro-services, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle).
