About the Role
As the Senior Analyst, Deployment Planner , you will support the North American team in driving executional excellence through deployment planning and network inventory optimization. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure product is in the right location at the right time while being cognizant of logistics costs. This is completed through planning and managing stock transfers in the SC Johnson network of regional distribution centers across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inventory distribution across the NA network while taking into consideration network constraints, service levels, and cost optimization.
- Manage vehicle load optimization and prioritization for Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods.
- Reviews key performance metrics and service levels reporting; provides root cause analysis and recommendations for performance improvement.
- Mitigate distress and gaps to safety stock levels across the network.
- Work upstream with Supply Planning to understand production schedules and constraints, and downstream with Transportation and Warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of inventory.
- Supports the S&OE process to drive continuous improvement efforts on key metrics, ways of working, and core processes.
Required Experience You'll Bring
- Requires University Degree and +2 years of relevant work experience or an advanced degree with +1 years relevant work experience.
- Military experience considered in lieu of education requirement.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

- Ability to operate in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Experience gathering, organizing, and evaluating financial data to support business decision making.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization.

- Ability to influence, lead projects and effectively collaborate to achieve objectives and produce results.
- Familiarity with SAP ECC, Kinaxis Rapid Response systems.
- Ability to implement and drive rituals and routines.
Job Requirements:
- Full time position based in Chicago, IL.
- Up to 10% Travel.
- Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees.
