Job Description
SUMMARY
Responsible for analyzing financial data to ensure the accurate, timely and proper accounting of financial statements; maintains a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
Develops, recommends, and implements accounting practices throughout to ensure that financial and budgeting/operating data accurately reflect the condition of the business or unit and provides reliable information necessary to control operations.
Assists in decision making and resolves complex accounting issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing accounting analysts/staff.
  • Preparation of budget/forecasts for multiple lines of products by functional area and direct the preparation of consolidated monthly reports that evaluate budget to actual performance.
  • Work with management reporting team to evaluate business drivers and understand impact on revenue/expenses.
  • Work with management reporting team to monitor dashboard/performance reports.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and identify requirements for enhancements to existing systems.
  • Ability to work with dynamic and changing requirements on a regular basis.
  • Manages production of various analyses and forecasting and operation management reports.
  • Providing recommendations for operational efficiency and process improvements subject to management review.
  • Develops, recommends and implements accounting process and policy changes.
  • Ensures accurate and proper accounting enabling consistency of our results.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.
  • Reviewing and approving journal entries, reconciliations and other work products of the team, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of accounting and/or auditing experience.
  • Strong ability to research, analyze and draw conclusions on operational issues.
  • Ability to establish working relationships with key internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical and technical proficiency in all aspects of finance and accounting.
  • Proficient with computers, standard corporate operating systems and applicable software applications.
  • Display the initiative and dedication necessary for timely and successful work completion.
  • Self Starter and effective in a team environment.
  • Able to effectively manage in continuous improvement environment.
  • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred (i.e. Accounting or Finance.)
  • CPA preferred

Salary Range:
$93,500.00-$125,950.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
