Job Description: The IT Auditor will plan and participate in information technology audits. The nature of the business audited varies from employee benefits consulting services to complex insurance and reinsurance brokerage.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess the risks associated with various business objectives and evaluate the controls in place to mitigate those risks.
2. Communicate audit findings to local management as is appropriate.
3. Assist in planning engagements based on IT risks.
4. Prepare work papers and coordinate receipt of audit materials required to analyze, test and evaluate the entity’s control environment.
5. Conduct interviews, walkthroughs, and document results.
6. Examine documentation and evaluate procedures in the control environment.
7. Document conclusions; organize and reference work papers for supervisory review.
8. Identify control weaknesses, help assess their impact, and discuss practical solutions.
