Drill Press Operator (Contract)

HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a leading industrial equipment supplier in Phoenix, Arizona, to fill the position of Drill Press Operator. This is a short-term contract role, perfect for individuals with experience using a drill press and looking for immediate work.
Position: Drill Press Operator
Type: Full-Time, Contract (2-4 weeks)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85044
Pay: $22/hour, weekly pay
Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (10 hour shift)
Duties:

• Operate a drill press to create holes in various materials according to specifications.
• Ensure precision and accuracy in all drilling operations, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine drilling requirements.
• Set up and adjust the drill press, including selecting appropriate drill bits and securing materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on the drill press to ensure it operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience operating a drill press
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Must be able to speak/understand English
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Need to be able to start ASAP
