To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also as a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. As this is a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with tasks in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking is essential for this position.

Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to South Shore Nissans highest quality standards.

Duties:

  • Handles transactions for services and parts, playing a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Reconciliation of customer bills is a key responsibility.
    • Receipt of cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, with accurate recording of received amounts.
    • Provision of change to customers and issuance of receipts.
    • Handling of customer complaints with integrity and composure; referral of dissatisfied customers to the
    appropriate individuals for resolution when necessary.
    • Assistance to the service and parts department by providing heavy telephone coverage.
    • Provision of clerical and secretarial support to parts and service departments.
    • Maintenance of a professional appearance at all times.
    • Ensuring a neat and clean work area.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual Preferred

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role is a plus

  • Professional attitude and appearance

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Customer service attitude
