RECOVERY SUPPORT NAVIGATOR (RSN)

About the Role:
Come join our dynamic Community Services Department as a full-time Recovery Support Navigator! We are looking for independent, hard workers who love supporting those in need, while enjoying a flexible schedule, a supportive work environment, and competitive compensation.
Our Recovery Support Navigators (RSN) work with adults in the community, living with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders. RSN provide skills training and connections to community resources to support independent living in their communities, decrease the risk of hospitalization or relapse of substance use, and improve overall quality of life.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge and/or pursue higher education in the field of mental health and social work. Be a part of an experienced, energetic and supportive team. Schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm depending on your availability and that of the client.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Meet client weekly to provide case management and system navigation support
- Engage client in the treatment system and support them in accessing treatment services and community resources
- Coordinate Care with the providers/contacts
- Provide telephone coaching and support
- Complete documentation of all meetings and contacts
- Attend weekly supervision and monthly staff and department meetings

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree preferred in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field with one (1) year of experience in the field required
- A valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Daily access to a working, registered and insured vehicle
- Excellent in both written and verbal communications
- Ability to independently plan and organize one's own schedule and client services
- Knowledge of Microsoft computer systems
- Strong time management skills and organization skills
- Bilingual applicants encouraged
- Candidates must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
- Candidates must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation
