The Q Business team builds new AWS services for our customers to be more productive and increase their efficiency. We leverage technologies like machine learning and robust analytics. We turn the power of AWS into intuitive applications that help millions of customers every day to stay ahead of their changing business needs. Our growing portfolio of business applications leverages the power and scale of AWS services to remove the undifferentiated heavy lifting that business users spend too much time on.

As part of the team, you will play a key role in defining and developing the next generation of applications. You will contribute to all parts of the software development lifecycle, documenting critical customer-facing functionalities. You possess great verbal and written communication skills, are self-driven, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with technical leaders across AWS.

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  3. Experience programming with at least one software programming language
