Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Training Coordinator to join our team. As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to our employees. Your main objective will be to ensure that our employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively. You will also be responsible for overseeing, administering, and monitoring the company wide Internship and DoD Skillbridge programs. You will work closely with the HR department and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop training plans that align with our business objectives. This is a critical role that requires excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop training programs that meet the needs of our employees and align with our business objectives.
  • Deliver training programs using a variety of methods, including instructor-led training, e-learning, and on-the-job training.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that training content is accurate, relevant, and up to date.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain training records and ensure that all employees receive the necessary training to perform their job duties effectively.
  • Track and report on employee participation or assessment results.
  • Create monthly training calendars and arrange for internal/external trainers.
  • Coordinate materials and facilities for training sessions, including handouts, supplies, technology, and virtual or physical conference rooms.
  • Assist others on the use of a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Develop, organize, conduct, and evaluate technical training programs, which may include training related to the use of computers, computer systems or applications, machinery, or other technical products.
  • Develop and maintain training manuals or other documentation.
  • Monitor and implementation of the DoD Skillbridge and company internship programs.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in training delivery, adult learning, and employee training.
  • Strong attention to detail; willing to take initiative; and commitment to quality customer service.
  • Experience with learning management systems and training program development.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in designing and developing training manuals and other training materials.
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools.
  • Certification in training and development.
  • Experience in a similar role in the same industry.
  • Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
