Job Title: Benefits Administrator

Location: Chicago, IL - Humbolt Park area

Pay: $60,000 - $85,000 annually

Job Description: The Benefits Administrator will manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role is critical in maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring the smooth operation of benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits including FMLA, COBRA, 403b, and Workers Compensation.
  • Coordinate with vendors to manage benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their benefits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits records.
  • Handle employee inquiries and issues related to benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientation and other informational sessions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA and COBRA.
  • Experience working with benefits vendors.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with UKG system is a plus.

Additional Details:

  • Background check required (criminal background and physical employee health).
  • Position is 100% onsite.
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40-hour work week.
