Anchor Talent has partnered with a North Dallas equipment manufacturer, who is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer will assist with continuous improvement opportunities in production, quality, processes, and overall productivity. This role will focus on reducing costs, oversee purchasing of materials, and focus on customer satisfaction and delivery.
Requirements and Responsibilities
• Develop and improve production processes, quality and procedures
• Use Lean Manufacturing Principles to identify and support opportunities to reduce costs, and improve productivity and throughput
• Design facility, plant and/or process flow layouts to improve productivity.
• Identify optimum manufacturing processes and raw material usage.
• Justify and oversee purchase, installation and start-up of optimum capital equipment
• Support product development and engineering to insure quality manufacturability
• Review cost analysis
• Investigate and resolve production and quality issues or concerns
• Improve the accuracy of production standards (time study, standard data development)
• Administer time studies to improve or develop production standards
Qualifications
• BS in Engineering
• Will consider recent graduates with limited experience
• Physical demands - Moderate: frequent lifting or moving material
• Ability to work Second Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm)
