We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Care Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high quality, efficient care to patients. Your duties will include scheduling and canceling patient appointments, checking-in and checking-out patients, entering charges and payments, answering the telephone, verifying patient insurance and demographics, collecting co-payments/coinsurance, performing administrative duties, assisting nursing staff, collecting patient specimens, taking patient histories and vital signs, preparing exam and treatment rooms, giving injections, applying casts, splints, and dressings, preparing and maintaining supplies and equipment for treatments, and assisting physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals. One year of clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting is required. Medical Assistant Certification is also required.
