Growing Insurance Brokerage Client is looking for an Accounting Manager . Accounting Managers have an important role in the accounting team's overall success. You will be responsible for directly supervising a team of 3-4 Senior Accountants onshore, while also ensuring your offshore accounting team's effectiveness and success. Communication and leadership; for our local team, our onshore team, as well as your respective business units, is paramount for success. Accounting Managers are expected to have a thorough understanding of each of their business units. You are expected to be able to answer, guide, and develop your team when their inquiries arise, but also to understand when it is important to escalate questions/discussion points upwards.
Accounting Managers will use their thorough understanding of their business units to be analytical in nature. Team building and team management is also important, in order to plan for Integrity's continued growth. Accounting Managers will work directly with, and report up to, Senior Managers.
What you will do:
• Directly supervise a team of 3-4 local Senior Accountants, along with the necessary offshore team; both Offshore Seniors and Offshore Managers. All accounting team work is expected to be thoroughly reviewed.
• Lead monthly closes, and ensure that all deliverables are prepared and reviewed in a timely manner, to ensure that the team closes on BD8.
• Review all respective bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, income statement flux analyses, and balance sheet flux analyses thoroughly.
• Coordinate and lead corporate accounting projects (i.e. implementation of a helpful software or tool, ASC 842 analysis, etc.) with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.
• Become familiar with the accounting and finance integration process for our acquisitions.
• Contribute to the team's positive attitude and Integrity's overall culture, lead by example.
• Heavily involved in the interim and year-end audit process, including but not limited to providing supporting documents for auditor requests and preparing memos and disclosures.
• Thrive in an unstructured environment and apply lean methodologies in supporting an excellent accounting and finance function within the organization.

Experience we are looking for:
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience (ideal candidates will have experience with full-cycle accounting), with prior experience in a supervisory role.
• CPA accreditation is required.
• Expertise in excel (high speed report customization, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formula etc.).
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Working knowledge of GAAP Accounting principles.
