Operations Supervisor

LINK Staffing Services has partnered with one of the largest international logistics providers to seek an Operations Supervisor to join their team. The Outbound Operations Supervisor will supervise operations over picking, packing, and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor department policies, processes, and work instructions related to the outbound operations
• Analyze data and information to identify department improvement opportunities
• Work closely with management to achieve outcomes based on company goals and customer KPIs
• Recommend and update policies, procedures, and work instructions to improve performance
• Maximize efficiency in workflow and cross-departmental engagement through lean-six & sigma methodology
• Improve cost-effectiveness across all departments
• Create daily/weekly/monthly reporting
• Take lead roles in special projects to have completed within allotted timeframes
• Understanding of pick and pack processes

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Certification preferred in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, preferred
• Knowledge in an OSHA, Safety and Workers’ Compensation
• Previous experience with material handling, forklift and reach truck strongly preferred
• Attention to detail with high organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Time management skills
• Experience with operating multiple WMS simultaneously, basic inventory control, and domestic transportation documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Email, and Internet
• Analytical skills / problem-solving ability
• Consistently demonstrates teamwork
• Able to lead with respect and professionalism
• Bi-Lingual is a plus
