Job Summary

Working independently, the Senior Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst evaluates, analyzes, designs, tests, and maintains company Human Resources & Payroll Information Systems. In this role, you will assist with the implementation and/or modification of new and existing applications and help ensure client needs and business processes are appropriately supported and enhanced.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Configure systems including, but not limited to the full suite of Ultimate Software & Cognos Business Intelligence 10. Make recommendations for system enhancements to increase business efficiencies.
  2. Collaborate with technical resources to identify & perform system review, testing & implementation of system upgrades, patches, and bi-annual releases.
  3. Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts for externally and internally hosted systems.
  4. Create, modify, and execute BI reports as necessary.
  5. Provide support for HR systems including day-to-day system troubleshooting for both end users and internal teams such as Payroll, HR, and Benefits.
  6. Perform standard & routine audits of HRIS database to ensure data integrity.
  7. Administer & monitor HRIS system security.
  8. Develop, document, and maintain business process procedures.
  9. Support year-end processing and information maintenance in line with client schedules (payroll, benefits, compensation).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related discipline or comparable work experience.
  • Five or more years of hands-on enterprise platform HRIS experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience managing & maintaining HR systems such as Ultimate Software, Workday, PeopleSoft, ADP, SAP, Cognos BI 10, etc.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organization skills.

Additional Benefit - Hybrid with On-Site in Houston, TX: Three times a week with Manager approval.
