A law firm in Dallas, TX is seeking a Mid-level Corporate Attorney to join its Corporate business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and negotiation of various corporate and transactional documents, including entity formation and governance documents, operating documents, supply agreements, purchase agreements, compliance documents, and merger and acquisition documents. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to interact effectively with clients, and representation of clients in negotiation of business transactions. Attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the capability to thrive in a team environment are essential.
Duties:
- Prepare and negotiate corporate and transactional documents, such as entity formation and governance documents, operating documents, supply agreements, purchase agreements, compliance documents, and merger and acquisition documents.
- Interact effectively with clients and represent them in negotiation of various business transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all legal documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a team environment to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
- 4-8 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within a law firm environment.
- Strong academic credentials.
