Responsibilities:
The Department of Economics at DePaul University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the level of Assistant Professor in the area of applied microeconomics. We are particularly interested in candidates who employ cutting-edge empirical techniques to examine policy relevant issues related to public, labor, urban, environmental, and health economics.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the candidate's field of specialty.
- Produce high-quality original research.
- Collaborate with colleagues and actively contribute to the intellectual life of the department.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities.
DePaul University is the largest Catholic university in the nation. The Economics Department is located in the Loop in downtown Chicago and is a part of the Driehaus College of Business, though we also offer undergraduate degrees in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. The Department's graduate programs include a quantitative Master of Science in Economics and an MBA concentration in Business Strategy and Decision-Making.

Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Economics or closely related field by the start date.
- Demonstrated potential for producing significant contributions to the area of applied microeconomics.
- Strong teaching skills and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.
- Proficiency with modern econometric tools and data analysis techniques.
