At DJ Hospitality, restaurant marketing embodies the execution of our brand and marketing strategy. This includes localized grass-roots or neighborhood marketing, media and public relations endeavors, sponsorships (paid partnerships with for-profit organizations), and active community involvement initiatives (paid and non-paid partnerships with non-profit organizations).
Position Overview:
We're seeking an exceptionally organized, goal-oriented, and results-driven Local Division Marketing Manager with a keen focus on Boots on the Ground (BOTG) strategies to bolster community engagement and drive revenue, particularly in catering. Your mission will be to foster connections with local businesses, amplify our presence within the community, and optimize performance metrics such as catering revenue, guest count, and Voice of the Guest (VOTG) feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role involves being physically present in the community, forging connections, and driving brand awareness and revenue through direct interactions.
  • Community Engagement: Act as the face of the company within the community, attending local events, networking with residents, businesses, and organizations, and establishing strong relationships.
  • Local Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with local businesses, influencers, and community leaders to amplify brand presence and reach new audiences.
  • Street-Level Marketing: Implement grassroots marketing tactics such as distributing flyers, hosting pop-up events, and organizing street activations to create buzz and drive foot traffic to the business.
  • Catering Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase catering sales, including outreach to corporate clients, event planners, and other potential catering customers in the area.
  • Brand Representation: Ensure that all marketing activities align with the brand's values, messaging, and visual identity, maintaining consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Feedback Gathering: Act as a conduit for gathering feedback from local customers, sharing insights with the broader marketing team to inform product development, service improvements, and future marketing campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as sales, operations, and product development to align local marketing efforts with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Measurable Results: Implement tracking mechanisms to measure the success of local marketing initiatives, regularly reporting on key metrics such as customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
The candidate will spearhead efforts to cultivate relationships with various community organizations, such as government entities, schools, and churches, leveraging the DJ Hospitality to fulfill their needs and objectives.
Overall, your role as a Local Store Marketing Director is to be the eyes, ears, and voice of the brand within the local community, driving tangible business results through hands-on, localized marketing efforts.
